The pH of Fluoroantimonic acid is -31.3 and that of o-diethynylbenzene dianion is 37.4 how can we explain abnormal pH. If we use the general logarithmic formula to get pH it is invalid. Moreover, the pH should range from 0-14

    $\begingroup$ Why do you expect all acids to lie within the conventional pH range? As you mentioned, some acids, like fluoroantimonic acid, defy this assumption. See why-is-fluoroantimonic-acid-so-strong? $\endgroup$ Commented Dec 14 at 2:54
