Graduate of a major Australian University, 1999 PhD. Theoretical Physics (High Energy Physics). I love this forum since it helps me remember a lot of stuff since forgotten. Whilst I did do postdoctoral research, this was for a very short period of time, and even though I taught undergrad Uni Physics on a part-time on-and-off basis for years, my chosen career is Information Technology. Since the pandemic began, I have ample time to read posts on PSE!
I started posting answers to questions in August 2020 and even though I’ve earned a relatively high reputation, realising how much I need to recall is staggering. I’m hoping there are other physics pgrads who chose other professions that come to this same realisation! That way I don’t feel that dum! :|
I may have to start asking questions as well…
