$\begingroup$ Try google scholar. Iron can rust to many things under many conditions. This question is broad. $\endgroup$ – Agriculturist Jul 13 '17 at 1:22

$\begingroup$ It is goethite. As for the activation energy, I don't believe it is even defined here. The reaction is too complex. $\endgroup$ – Ivan Neretin Jul 13 '17 at 14:42

  • $\begingroup$ In that case google "Activation energy for iron oxide" $\endgroup$ – Agriculturist Jul 14 '17 at 21:37
