I have thought about using dichloroisocyanuric acid or potassium permanganate, would that be possible?

    $\begingroup$ Have you tried searching like copper "purple patina" ? There seems to be multiple interesting hits. // Note that you would get more practical advises from people actually working with patina than from chemists, as empirical experience beats better understanding of underlying processes. $\endgroup$
