I am questioning why the cell component's resistance to the electrons (contact resistance) and protons (membrane resistance) flow follow the ohmic law. This assumption is made in recent papers on PEM-WE-modelling. In Engineering Catalysis - Chapter 3 I found the hint, that the reason might be, that only one adsorbed proton or electron is involved. Is this a correct explanation?
