enter image description here Please Explain me which of the following structures is more stable. Is structure (b) having cross conjugation? According to me, (b) should be more stable than (a) because free radical at primary carbon is less stable than free radical at secondary carbon.

$\begingroup$ If you take a picture with your smartphone, why can't you at least rotate it properly? Homework questions need to show some effort! $\endgroup$ – Karl Feb 22 at 8:19

$\begingroup$ Also non-homework questions get better answers if they are formatted nicely. Just crop and rotate the picture, takes 10 seconds. The way it looks now, people think you are not really interested. $\endgroup$ – Karl Feb 22 at 8:55

$\begingroup$ With same structure in different guises you mean mesomeric structures. The correct question would be which mesomeric structure has a larger contrbution. $\endgroup$ – Kexanone Feb 22 at 10:10
