i use to hear people saying that cooking drinks like tea or beet juice with added sugar is healthy compared to when you add it in your cup when the drink is ready. Is this scientifically proven(which one if yes) or it is a myth?

$\begingroup$ Sugars are sugars. Sugars are "hollow calories." What you need to compare is the total amount of sugar in the two drinks. The less, the better. $\endgroup$ – MaxW Nov 21 at 18:38

  • $\begingroup$ Thanks thanks for your replies. I'm really supprised and confused how even doctors in my region use to recommend this for persons with diabetes but it's hard to get scientific reason when i raise this issue. $\endgroup$ – Dusabe Nov 22 at 9:16
