  • $\begingroup$ @Waylander That contains the hydrolysis of nitro group part and seeing that I think mine is correct.Thanks. $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ Except for the carbon atom with 5 bonds. And is this really only a 'hydrolysis'? $\endgroup$ Nov 5 '20 at 19:19

$\begingroup$ @Ashutosh yes, I imagined it was a typo, but you know, if this were a test, they would not forgive that. The small pain I'm causing to your brain by pointing this out might help you avoid this mistake when it matters :) $\endgroup$ Nov 6 '20 at 19:15

$\begingroup$ Concerning the hydrolysis: if you boil a carboxylic acid ester with water and a catalyst, you get an alcohol and an acid. None of the atoms involved changes oxidation state. In your reaction, would you say it's the same? See this and this. So I was pointing out the fact that there's more to it than just addition of water followed by some cleavage. $\endgroup$ Nov 6 '20 at 19:16
