If an equilibrium system shifted to the right, would that mean that the products increased while the reactants decreased? For example, if an equilibrium system had its pressure decreased and since the right side had a greater amount of gas moles, would the products and reactants increase or decrease.

  • $\begingroup$ It depends on what else you do. On its own, a net forward reaction does increase products and decrease reactant amounts. Just to be clear, the product molecules do not increase in size, there is just more of them as reactants react to form products. $\endgroup$ – Karsten Theis May 22 at 18:54
