# Chemical Kinetics regarding Iodination of Cyclohexanone

We did an experiment to determine the overall order of iodination of cyclohexanone.

Rate of a certain chemical reaction = $$\ce{k[A]^p[B]^q[C]^r}$$ so the overall order = p+q+r

We're referring to a paper from research gate but the only difference is we use cyclohexanone instead of acetone.

On page 10 (Conclusion), supposedly the overall order is 2, but they calculated it as 0 order because they omit the order of acetone and HCl. My question is how come they can omit the values?
