I have my film developer and fixer in the plastic bottles, also I have glycerine and propylene glycol. They all have paper seals (in caps) that those chemicals get wet and destroy - they just fell apart. If they are so unstable why are they used in the first place, and what can I do to preserve the chemicals from oxidation once paper seal is destroyed?
