What method is commonly used for separating out potassium-40 from natural potassium with a purity grade around 95% or more? How much would one kilogram of potassium-40 cost if this method is used?

$\begingroup$ Google leads you to multiple possible suppliers of potassium-40, so you can ask for a quote. There are other ways to get it than separating it. One example might be using the (n,p) reaction on Ca-40, after which fairly simple chemical separation would work. $\endgroup$ – Jon Custer Aug 13 at 17:46
