I am speccing a system for highly purified water which will be stored in an atmospheric tank. The tank comes with HEPA filters that will keep out things like dust, spores and bacteria, however, CO2 can get past the filters and contaminate the system. Is there any way to easily scrub the air to prevent CO2 from getting into the tank and dissolving into the water?

  • $\begingroup$ In the beginners practical we collected carbon dioxide with saturated barium chloride solution, but that's not quantitative and toxic. $\endgroup$ – Martin - マーチン Apr 26 at 23:22
