Hi! My name is jojoma42, and I'm a currently a senior in high school. I've always considered mathematics and music my primary passions, but this past summer, I obtained a research internship at Georgia Tech with a professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering. There, I performed hands-on nanomaterials research and wrote a paper entitled "Kinetically Controlled Synthesis of Silver Nanoplates and Nanodisks via a Solvothermal Route." My experiences with materials science research has altered my future plans of study, and I hope to possibly be involved with nanoscience research once I graduate from high school and go to university!
