In a single replacement reaction, will a metal that is lower on the activity series NEVER replace a bonded metal/nonmetal, even if the metal is somehow energized?

For example, will the reaction $\ce{3Fe(s) + Al2SO4(aq) -> 2Al(s) + 3FeSO4(aq)}$ ever occur under any circumstance?
