Question

Testing this new forum, I'm interested in the relationship between the subject concepts. It isn't clear (to me) why some terms are applied certain cases and how clearly the mechanism of a bi-stability is understood in many cases. Is there a canonical application of each term to a specific case, and if so, what empirical data would these rules consider. Thanks, Mike
